Micro dermabrasion is a non chemical, non invasive procedure
used to remove the outer layer of skin cells to treat a number of different skin
concerns from dull tired skin to pigmentation and acne scarring. By removing
those dead cells from the surface of the skin it promotes the growth and
reveals healthy new skin cells it stimulates collagen production so your skin
will have a smooth texture and youthful glow. Your skin will be thoroughly
cleansed and checked over before the treatment will take place. The rotating
diamond wand will be used all over the affected area to be treated causing an
exfoliating effect removing the outer most layers of dead skin and being
removed by the suction effect. The skin will then be calmed and treated with
products specifically chosen for your skin concerns. SPF will always be applied
after the treatment.

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) & Laser Skin
Rejuvenation creates beams of high intensity light – this stimulates the
collagen and elastin in the skin making the skin appear more youthful.
Age spots and sun damage – these are created as a result of sun exposure
and are generally found on the face, décolleté & hands. They are an
over-production of melanin, creating dark patches on the skin.
Large pores- these are created when the natural pores become clogged

A course of at least four treatments
is recommended for best results. A topical anesthetic cream will be applied to
the skin before treatment begins, this will then be removed and your skin
cleansed. The treatment itself will take anything from 15minutes to 45 minutes
to complete depending on the size of the area to treat. After the anesthetic
has worn off your skin in the treated area may feel uncomfortable for a few
hours with a slight feeling like sunburn. Slight redness will be seen directly
after treatment this will subside within a few hours to a few days, slight
swelling may last up to 24 hours after the treatment.

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive
manual exfoliation technique that removes the top surface layer of dead skin,
vellus hair (peach fuss)and any other debris using a sterile surgical scalpel
revealing the newer skin underneath. So
it works by removing the top layer of dead skin cells unveiling fresher, smoother,
more youthful skin. Doing this regularly can improve the appearance of
scarring, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and is great
preparation for chemical peels. On top of all of this it also allows the
topical products being used in your home care routine to absorb more
effectively giving you better results all round.
